I just took a glance at your web page and read about Ruta and Carcel. I thought you might be interested in a few pics from a legendary Costa Rican prison, San Lucas. On an island, closed in the 1990’s, was made famous by a novel by a former inmate, La isla de los hombres solos. I’ll send a few more pics of: “el disco” the confinement cell underground and some grafitti from the walls some of it painted with human blood.
The last grafitti is Oscar Arias, former president (and now he’s president again)!
